5 signs your company needs a CRM
If you lost a customer because nobody remembered to follow up, it is probably time for a CRM.

Most companies don’t adopt a CRM because they read about it. They do it when lost customers and wasted time become obvious. If you see two or more of these signs, it’s worth a look.
1. Leads fall between people
A customer called last week and everyone assumed someone else replied. Nobody did.
2. Everyone has their own spreadsheet
When someone leaves, their customers leave with them, and totals mean merging five files.
3. You don’t know which ads work
You spend on Facebook and Google but can’t tell which ad brought which buyer.
4. Follow-up depends on memory
If follow-up relies on someone remembering, customers will be forgotten.
5. Reports take a day
If the weekly sales report takes a full day to build, that’s a day not spent selling.
Where to start
- Write down your sales steps from first contact to contract.
- Decide who owns each step.
- Start with a simple system for those steps and grow it later.
